Handle cash handling duties including cash drawer management, retail math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end. Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive customer interaction. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support store operations by supervising team members during busy periods and assisting with training new staff on cashiering procedures. Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Bilingual skills are highly valued to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases. Proven ability to operate POS systems and perform retail math accurately. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Experience in cashiering, cash register operations, and cash drawer handling is advantageous. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management practices. Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, including handling difficult situations with professionalism.
