//www.zimmvet.com/ Responsibilities Greet clients and pets by name Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system Schedule appointments and surgeries Provide phone shoppers with descriptions of services first, price last Take and deliver messages promptly to appropriate staff Note in medical records the details discussed during client conversations including the date, time, key points of the discussion and any action required Ensure the lobby and exam rooms are clean and odor free Fill and dispense prescriptions for patients Confirm medical records are accurate and complete, request transcripts from other hospitals, and transfer transcripts to other hospitals as needed Receive payment for services, providing exact change when taking cash payments are received Print and record end-of-day balances, ensuring they are accurate Update reminders for clients as needed Provide client education on topics such as nutrition, preventatives, and other common questions
