$14.00 per hour About Easton's Deli Easton's Deli is a new, chef-owned and operated artisan deli opening in Diamondhead, Mississippi.

Our focus is straightforward:

exceptional sandwiches made with exceptional ingredients, made in-house. Behind our sandwich menu is an extensive scratch-production program featuring naturally leavened sourdough breads, house-cured and smoked meats, traditional charcuterie, fermented vegetables, pickles, sauces, dressings, and condiments. Our operation also includes retail bread and specialty food sales, catering, and takeout service. Our open kitchen is equipped with professional bread ovens and commercial production equipment, allowing us to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern culinary techniques. Easton's is led by a chef-owner with more than 20 years of professional experience in restaurant kitchens, executive culinary management, artisan baking, butchery, charcuterie, and commercial food production. We're building a small, skilled team in a relaxed but professional working environment. We value curiosity, attention to detail, consistency, and a genuine desire to learn together. Position Overview We're looking for dependable, personable individuals to represent Easton's Deli at the counter. Our cashiers are responsible for welcoming guests, accurately processing orders and payments, maintaining an organized service area, and providing knowledgeable, attentive customer service. As part of a small team, cashiers will also assist with packaging, stocking, cleaning, and general daily operations. Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Accurately enter orders and process payments using our point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash responsibly and accurately count back change.
• Develop a working knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and house-made products.
• Package takeout orders, retail bread, and specialty products.
• Assist with catering order assembly and preparation.
• Maintain clean, organized counters, dining areas, and service stations.
• Restock supplies, beverages, and retail merchandise.
• Participate in daily cleaning, dishwashing, opening, and closing duties.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies. Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to accurately count back change.
• Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Comfortable learning new systems and procedures.
• Willingness to assist coworkers and participate in all aspects of daily operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks.
