Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide clients through their service experience, ensuring their vehicles receive top-quality care while fostering lasting relationships. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests. Provide detailed explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance, utilizing estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, and transmission repairs to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Prepare accurate service estimates and repair orders using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates, repair recommendations, and cost estimates. Handle cash transactions professionally while maintaining accurate records of all service sales and payments. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in auto service management within a dealership or automotive repair shop. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, suspension work, and collision repair. Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. Sales aptitude with experience in upselling automotive services and parts. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive customer vehicles safely. Prior experience working with service technicians and understanding automotive repair processes is highly desirable. $44,000.00 - $61,346.73 per year
