This position is more than simply delivering food. Our drivers are an important part of the customer experience and will also assist the restaurant team between deliveries. Responsibilities Deliver customer orders safely, accurately and promptly Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery Verify orders before leaving the restaurant Handle cash and electronic payments accurately Maintain communication with the restaurant regarding deliveries and delays Assist with answering phones and taking customer orders when needed Help package and organize takeout and delivery orders Restock boxes, beverages, condiments and other supplies Assist with light cleaning and general restaurant duties between deliveries Help maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and delivery area Follow all restaurant procedures and food-safety standards What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and safe driving record Reliable transportation Current vehicle registration and insurance when using a personal vehicle Dependable and punctual Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Able to work independently while also being part of a team Good communication and organizational skills Familiarity with Northwood and surrounding communities is a plus Evening and weekend availability is important Previous delivery or restaurant experience is helpful but not required What We Offer Competitive pay Customer tips Flexible scheduling Employee food discounts A locally owned and operated workplace Opportunity for additional hours and responsibilities as the restaurant grows About Northwood Pizza Company Northwood Pizza Company is being built around quality food, dependable service and becoming a lasting part of the local community.
