Position Overview TLC is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. Our Customer Service Representatives work directly with customers and serve as an important link between the customer and our internal Sales, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Shipping teams . You will help manage customer requirements throughout the order lifecycle, including processing orders, communicating lead times and order status, maintaining accurate information in our ERP system, coordinating internally to resolve issues, and ensuring customers receive timely and professional communication. Because we operate in a precision manufacturing environment, success in this position requires strong attention to detail, follow-through, organization, and the ability to manage multiple customer priorities at the same time. . Review incoming customer purchase orders and ensure information is accurately entered and communicated internally. Provide customers with order confirmations, lead times, shipment information, and order status updates . Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Shipping to obtain information and ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed. Monitor open customer orders and proactively follow up internally when information, approvals, or actions are needed. Communicate schedule changes, delays, and other order-related information to customers professionally and promptly. Help resolve customer questions and concerns by coordinating with the appropriate internal departments. Support the Sales team with customer account management, quoting activities, and ongoing customer communication. Maintain accurate documentation and records of customer interactions, orders, commitments, and changes. Assist with customer documentation and administrative requirements associated with manufacturing orders. Manage multiple customer accounts and priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. Identify potential customer or order issues early and escalate them appropriately. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at improving customer service, communication, and order-management processes. What We're Looking For 3+ years of customer service, account management, order management, or similar professional experience. Responds to customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintains accurate customer and order information in JobBOSS. Processes and confirms customer orders in a timely manner. Proactively communicates with customers rather than waiting for customers to request updates. Works effectively with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Shipping to resolve customer needs. Recognizes potential problems early and follows through until they are resolved. Builds strong, professional relationships with customers. Helps ensure TLC consistently meets its commitments to customers. These expectations align with the measurable goals in your existing description, including timely responses, order accuracy, order confirmation, customer satisfaction, and supporting sales through professional account communication.
