We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a contract assignment in New Jersey. In this role, you will support customers by handling order-related questions, resolving concerns, and delivering a detail-focused service experience across a high-volume call center environment. This opportunity is well suited for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and can remain dependable throughout the full contract period, including required peak business days and scheduled Saturdays based on workload.

Responsibilities:

Handle incoming customer contacts regarding order progress, account activity, purchase history, and updates to existing orders. Address questions about products and purchases while guiding customers toward accurate and timely solutions. Resolve complaints and service issues by identifying root causes, explaining available options, and following through to completion. Build customer confidence through attentive listening, thoughtful communication, and helpful product and service education. Stay current on merchandise availability, promotional activity, catalogs, and scheduled events in order to provide accurate information. Support seasonal campaigns and new product initiatives by responding to customer interest and reinforcing current offerings. Process transactions such as refunds, exchanges, replacements, and coupon-related requests with close attention to accuracy. Identify opportunities to recommend relevant products or direct customers to the appropriate internal resource when specialized support is needed. Use Zendesk and related customer service tools to document interactions and manage requests efficiently. Complete additional service-related tasks and team support duties as assigned by leadership. Prior experience in a call center or high-volume customer service setting is required. Ability to manage inbound calls and provide effective support for customer inquiries and order-related concerns. Experience with order entry, transaction processing, or similar customer account support activities. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to remain detail oriented and solution-focused during challenging interactions. Availability to commit to the full contract duration, including Black Friday and the first two Saturdays following it, with additional Saturdays as needed based on business demand. Comfort working with customer service platforms such as Zendesk or similar case management systems. Dependable attendance and flexibility to work a Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend support as required.
