Job Description:

SUMMARY Step into a client-facing leadership role where you'll own month-end and year-end close, guide junior staff, and partner with diverse businesses-from emerging ventures to complex enterprises. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead day-to-day client accounting, including full month-end and year-end close with required adjustments.
• Prepare and review management reports and GAAP-based financial statements for multiple clients.
• Oversee account reconciliations (bank, credit card, balance sheet) and ensure data integrity.
• Review staff work, provide coaching and feedback, and help shape best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to streamline workflows and enhance the use of accounting technology.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and timeliness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5-8 years progressive accounting experience, including recent work in a public accounting setting.
• Hands-on CAS background: closes, adjustments, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Supervisory review experience with the ability to mentor junior team members.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and modern accounting tech; strong Excel skills.
• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing).
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical capabilities.
