We are seeking a WFH CSR for a contract/temporary healthcare customer service opportunity supporting Marketplace consumers in New Jersey. This Customer Service Representative role is ideal for someone with strong phone skills, accurate data entry abilities, and a genuine interest in helping individuals and families navigate health care coverage options. In this call center position, you will assist callers with general Marketplace questions, applications, eligibility information, enrollment support, demographic updates, and life event changes. The role offers a structured, process-driven environment with training, clear procedures, supportive team communication, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping consumers access important health care services. Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from consumers, prospective enrollees, and authorized representatives while following established performance, privacy, and confidentiality standards.
- Assist individuals and families with Marketplace health care coverage applications, including household details, income information, eligibility determinations, and plan enrollment.
- Document all inquiries, actions, updates, transfers, and resolutions accurately in applicable systems.
- Process life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment period inquiries.
- Facilitate caller requests for materials by mail, email, or download and coordinate translation services when needed.
- Escalate complex calls or issues to designated team members and participate in meetings and trainings to stay current on programs and systems. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18 to $19 per hour.

Toms River, NJ. Required Qualifications and Skills- Answer and manage high-volume consumer calls related to Marketplace health care coverage.
- Process health care coverage applications, eligibility information, enrollment requests, and account updates.
- Accurately track, document, and update caller information in required systems.
- Follow call center procedures, privacy guidelines, escalation protocols, and quality standards.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience required.
- Strong data entry skills and professional telephone skills required.
- Customer service or call center experience preferred for success in this role.
- Comfortable using computers, phone systems, and headsets.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple complex tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to follow policies, procedures, scripts, privacy requirements, and established call handling standards. Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Previous healthcare, Marketplace, insurance, or benefits support experience is helpful.
- Previous call center experience is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
