Overview Heidi's Ice Cream is in search of an Ice Cream Scooper to join our team. We are a quickly growing local business that specializes in house made ice cream, as well as other desserts and Heidi's jam products. We currently have a flagship location in Albuquerque and a new food trailer in Corrales with air conditioning and ample space for employees to work in, in a beautiful location located at the farm stand a coffee shop/wine bar and provisions. This position is for our food trailer located in Corrales. This position offers full-time hours with daytime and evening shifts. Starting pay is $12/hour + tips. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food and service industry. Responsibilities Scoop and serve ice cream to customers while maintaining a quick pace and friendly service Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels of ice cream flavors and toppings. Engage with customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations based on preferences. Work with others in a small team environment Requirements Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math skills. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work in a kitchen environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
