Insurance Customer Service & Sales Representative - In Office Larry Peyton Insurance Agency - Gardnerville, NV Larry Peyton Insurance Agency is looking for a dependable, motivated, customer-focused person to join our team in our Gardnerville office. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, IN-OFFICE position. This is not a remote or hybrid position. We are an established, growing insurance agency looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, working as part of a team, and identifying opportunities to help clients with additional insurance needs. Insurance experience is preferred but not required . We are willing to train and help license the right person.

Responsibilities include:

Assist existing customers with their insurance needs Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer questions Process policy changes and provide day-to-day account service Review customer accounts and identify coverage gaps Cross-sell and quote home, auto, umbrella, life, commercial, and other insurance products Follow up with prospects and existing customers Make outbound calls to customers for account reviews and cross-selling opportunities Ask for referrals and help develop new business Support other team members during busy periods Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activities Assist with agency marketing, networking, and local community events as needed Build long-term relationships with our customers and referral partners We're looking for someone who: Is dependable and consistently shows up ready to work Has excellent customer service and communication skills Enjoys talking with people Is comfortable making outbound phone calls Is comfortable selling and identifying opportunities Is organized and able to manage multiple tasks Learns new computer systems quickly Takes ownership of their responsibilities Works well as part of a small team Can work independently without constant supervision Wants a stable, long-term position with opportunities to grow Experience in insurance, banking, mortgage lending, real estate, title/escrow, automotive, hospitality, professional offices, customer service, or sales is a plus. Licensing A Nevada Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred but is not required for the right candidate. An unlicensed candidate must be willing and able to obtain the necessary insurance license within an agreed-upon timeframe. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base compensation based on experience and licensing, plus opportunities to earn additional income through sales and production incentives.
