Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service by accurately diagnosing vehicle needs, preparing detailed estimates using advanced estimating software, and communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle repairs and maintenance. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information about the issues they are experiencing Use automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle conditions and determine necessary repairs or maintenance services Prepare accurate estimates for repairs using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software, including services such as oil changes, brake repair, transmissions, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts, air brake systems, wheel alignments, and collision repairs Upsell additional services or parts that enhance vehicle safety and performance while ensuring customer satisfaction Communicate clearly with clients regarding repair procedures, costs, timelines, and recommended services to foster trust and transparency Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of services Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all client interactions and service orders Requirements Proven experience as a Service Advisor/Writer or in an automotive service management role within a dealership or independent repair shop Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, suspension, brakes, oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts, air brakes, and collision repair Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Experience in auto estimating, sales techniques including upselling, and client communication strategies Knowledge of automotive diagnostics procedures and mechanical repair processes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain organized records Automotive repair or technician experience is highly desirable for better understanding of technical aspects Join us in delivering top-tier automotive care while building lasting relationships with our customers!
