Position Overview:

The Customer Service Specialist will support the Equipment Integrity & Service Operations department by serving as a liaison between customers, third-party service providers, and internal teams. This role is responsible for providing proactive customer communication, monitoring equipment service activities, tracking service requests, and ensuring customers are informed of technician arrival times, delays, and service status updates. This is a temporary 3-month assignment designed to support increased service activity and enhance customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customer locations and provide updates regarding technician estimated arrival times (ETAs), delays, schedule changes, and return visits
• Monitor sales orders associated with Third Party Service Provider return calls
• Coordinate with regional dispatchers to obtain service status updates and communicate information to customers
• Monitor service tickets for designated Third Party Service Providers to ensure timely follow-up and customer communication
• Update and maintain customer records and service information in company systems.
• Track service activities and delivery status while providing customers with accurate and timely updates
• Escalate customer concerns and service issues to appropriate internal teams when needed
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused approach in all interactions
• Support operational processes by documenting customer communications and service updates accurately

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening abilities
• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Empathy, patience, and professionalism when working with customers
• Resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within the team
• Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
• Strong computer and data-entry skills

Education:

High School Diploma/GED is required

Compensation:

$20/hour (approximately $41,600 annually)

Schedule and Location:

This position is 40 hours per week with a schedule of either 10a-6p or 9a-5p Monday-Friday.
