Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product demos when needed Assist customers with product selection, upselling relevant items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Handle cash handling duties with precision, including cash, credit card payments, and receipts Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks to keep the sales floor fully stocked and appealing Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs Experience with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales processes is beneficial but not mandatory Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions with shoppers Join us to deliver outstanding service in a lively retail environment!
