Job Summary As an Insurance Agent and Customer Service Representative, you'll help clients understand coverage options, select policies that fit their needs, and provide support throughout their relationship with the agency. You'll combine insurance sales, customer service, and sales administration to facilitate day-to-day operations of the office. Responsibilities Build client relationships through retail and outside sales, and timely follow-up. Explain and discuss property and casualty, and commercial insurance options; negotiate terms within authorized guidelines. Respond to client questions, support policy servicing and administration (collect premium payments, assist with billing questions, etc.), and communicate coverage details clearly. Maintain accurate records. Review client needs and policy information, follow applicable insurance regulations, and coordinate next steps with relevant parties. Requirements Must be dependable, honest, and trustworthy. Background check will be performed. Must obtain insurance license, if not currently held. Education course provided, if necessary. Strong customer service/people skills, sales, client communication, and relationship-building skills Knowledge of insurance products (specifically personal lines like homeowners, auto, etc.) is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate; familiarity with health insurance, life insurance, or commercial insurance are also helpful. Retail sales, outside sales, or sales administration experience is valued.

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
