Our hospital prides itself on overall patient wellness, client education and research. We are a two doctor practice with space for growth. We are looking for a friendly, dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our hospital. Applicants must be compassionate, and carry themself in a positive, professional manner.
Responsibilities Client Experience & Service:
Warmly greet clients, check patients in and out, answer multi-line phones, address inquiries regarding clinic services/pricing, and de-escalate difficult client interactions with empathy.
Scheduling & Triage:
Book wellness visits, procedures, and urgent care appointments using practice management software. Identify emergency or contagious conditions over the phone or in the lobby to route patients immediately.
Financial Management:
Discuss treatment estimates, process credit card/cash payments, manage pet insurance claims, and handle third-party financing options (e.g., CareCredit)
Administrative & Medical Records:
Update client accounts, process prescription refill requests, request external medical histories, and ensure compliance with patient consent forms.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
Act as the liaison between pet owners and the clinical team (veterinarians and vet technicians) by communicating patient updates, doctor notes, and diagnostic results.
