Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and confidence. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance sales. Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times. Stock shelves and merchandise displays to maintain an attractive and organized store environment. Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging products appealingly and ensuring stock levels are maintained. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person. Skills Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions. Strong supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members when needed. Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, pricing, and inventory counts. Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and monolingual contexts to connect effectively with diverse customers. Skilled in upselling techniques and product demos to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and basic math principles. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette for a seamless shopping experience.
