As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the point of sale. • Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Process customer transactions accurately using a POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer questions and provide assistance as needed
• Upsell additional products or services to customers
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service Requirements
• Basic math skills to calculate totals, handle cash, and provide accurate change
• Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred
• Knowledge of retail math principles for pricing and discounts is a plus
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
