Job Description
The Sumter Item is looking for a bright, friendly, energetic individual to work with data entry and with customers at our front counter. This position inputs and proofs a variety of circulation and advertising orders. The position also provides clerical / administrative support. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general office, phones, making copies, faxing, filing, and telephone support to customers. Computer experience is a necessity. Position is part-time at 20+ hours per week, typically Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Submit your resume and/or or come by our office in downtown Sumter to apply.
