$25 per hour Position Overview Champion Restoration is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Customer Service Representative to support our reconstruction and build-back department. This is not an entry-level customer service position. Candidates must have previous experience in the restoration, insurance reconstruction, construction, or property-claims industry. Experience communicating directly with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and insurance carriers is required. The Reconstruction CSR is responsible for managing customer communication, insurance follow-up, project documentation, invoicing support, and administrative coordination throughout the reconstruction process. This position works closely with homeowners, adjusters, Project Managers, estimators, subcontractors, and internal departments to keep projects moving toward completion and payment. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the reconstruction process. Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters and carrier representatives. Provide customers with regular updates regarding documentation, approvals, payments, and project status. Track estimates, carrier approvals, supplements, deductibles, depreciation, and recoverable depreciation. Submit estimates, invoices, photographs, certificates of completion, and supporting claim documentation. Follow up consistently with adjusters and carriers regarding outstanding approvals and payments. Request recoverable depreciation after project completion. Maintain complete and accurate electronic job files. Collect contracts, authorizations, selections, change orders, completion documents, and customer signatures. Document phone calls, emails, approvals, customer concerns, and outstanding action items. Assist with deposits, progress invoices, final invoices, and outstanding customer balances. Coordinate with Project Managers, estimators, subcontractors, vendors, and other team members. Help identify and resolve administrative issues that could delay production or payment. Provide professional and compassionate service to homeowners dealing with property damage. Assist with project closeout and warranty documentation. Required Qualifications Previous experience in restoration, insurance reconstruction, construction, or property claims. Proven experience working directly with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and insurance carriers. Understanding of insurance-funded reconstruction projects. Familiarity with estimates, supplements, deductibles, depreciation, recoverable depreciation, and change orders. Strong phone, email, and customer-service skills. Excellent organization, follow-up, and time-management abilities. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Ability to manage multiple active projects and deadlines. Ability to handle challenging customer conversations professionally. Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and job-management software. Reliable attendance and a strong sense of responsibility. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of restoration or insurance-reconstruction experience. Experience with Xactimate or XactAnalysis. Experience with restoration job-management or Proven Jobs software. Familiarity with carrier programs and third-party administrators. Experience submitting supplements and recoverable-depreciation requests. Knowledge of residential construction and build-back terminology. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is organized, persistent, professional, and comfortable taking ownership of the administrative side of multiple reconstruction projects. You must be able to communicate clearly, maintain accurate records, identify missing information, and follow outstanding items through to completion. Successful candidates understand that consistent communication and follow-up are essential when working with homeowners and insurance companies. Schedule Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30 Occasional overtime may be required during high-volume or catastrophe events.
