As a small, family-run upholstery shop, we're known for quality work, honest service, and long-standing customer relationships. We're looking for a friendly and dependable Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team and help keep our tradition of excellent customer care going strong. About the Role This is a full-time, in-shop position where you'll be the first point of contact for customers—whether they're dropping by to check out fabric options, calling in for a quote, or following up on a project. You'll guide them through the upholstery process, provide estimates, and keep things organized from start to finish. Because we handle furniture every day, this role also includes assisting with moving and inspecting incoming and outgoing pieces.

What You'll Do Customer Support:

Welcome and assist walk-in customers, answer phone/email inquiries, and help clients choose fabrics.

Estimates & Tracking:

Prepare accurate quotes, follow up on estimates, track customer projects, and coordinate timelines with our upholstery team.

Showroom Maintenance:

Keep showroom samples, fabric displays, and the workspace tidy, current, and organized.

Shop Assistance:

Help receive, move, and manage incoming and outgoing furniture items for projects.

Administration:

Handle basic administrative tasks like scheduling, filing, and order tracking.

What We're Looking For Physical Ability:

Must be comfortable and capable of lifting and moving furniture up to 75 lbs safely (Required) .

Experience:

1 year of Sales, Customer Relations, or retail experience (Preferred) .

Attributes:

Friendly, approachable, highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.

Skills:

Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc.) and a willingness to learn about fabrics, furniture styles, and upholstery options (we'll train you!).
