Job Description
We are looking to hire part-time Customer Service Desk associates. We offer flexible scheduling. Pay based on experience. General Cashier Responsibilities
- Scan and bag items
- Collect cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers
- Make change accurately
- Provide friendly customer service
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment Service Desk Responsibilities
- Process exchanges and return transactions
- Answer customer's questions and politely handle complaints
- Balance cash drawers by counting down cash drawers at end of cashier's shifts
- Sell lottery tickets, complete Western Union transactions, and other services provided by our Customer Service Desk
- Balance lottery sales, cash office, sales drawers, and postage
- Answering telephone and transferring calls as needed Qualifications
- 18 years or older preferred
- Experience handling money and working as a cashier desired, but willing to train
- Computer skills a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail
