Job Summary Seeking an artist to assist in the design and physical finish of escape room props and sets. This is a part time position. Pay is hourly and based on experience. About Us We are an escape room fabrication company consisting of members who have constructed escape rooms for over a decade. We create custom props per the request of our clients, which are located up and down the east coast in the US and Canada. We're a small crew looking to expand to continue fabricating client deliverables within reasonable time frames. Responsibilities Utilize 2D graphic design tools to create signs, graphics, and references for fabrication processes. Comprehension and execution of designs requested by clients and by the team. Apply paint via brush, roller, and air sprayer. Exercise proper care and maintenance of tools. Knowledge of wood finishing applications such as sanding, painting inlays, painting grooves, staining, and sealing. Sculpt via foam and other common, moldable materials. Work with the team to plan set designs using various set accessories (ex. considerations of foliage, sounds, wall designs, etc for a jungle room). Assist in the construction, installation, and maintenance of client rooms. Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary. Schedule Part time hours. Schedule is flexible outside of on-site builds, and exact days will be discussed during interviews. Position will be year round, focusing more on upkeep and maintenance during the summer, and construction during the off-season.

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
