Overview Join our dynamic team as an Event Audiovisual Integrator and become a vital part of delivering seamless, high-quality audiovisual experiences for live events, corporate meetings, and conferences. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating a wide range of AV systems to ensure flawless execution from setup to breakdown. Your technical expertise and proactive approach will help create engaging environments that captivate audiences and meet client expectations. Duties Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment including video conferencing systems, audio systems, control systems, and digital signal processing devices. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AV system diagrams to ensure accurate installation and integration. Perform routine maintenance, testing, and calibration of AV equipment to guarantee optimal performance during events. Operate live event AV production setups, managing audio levels, video feeds, and control systems to deliver professional presentations. Implement cabling solutions using hand tools while adhering to electrical codes and safety standards for low voltage and telecommunication wiring. Troubleshoot equipment failures swiftly during events or installations by diagnosing issues with software or hardware components. Collaborate with clients and event organizers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored AV solutions that enhance their experience. Qualifications Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong understanding of audiovisual system installation, operation, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and control system programming related to AV setups. Skilled in the use of hand tools, voltmeters, and other electrical/mechanical testing devices for field service tasks. Familiarity with computer networking concepts essential for configuring video conferencing systems and networked AV equipment. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and implement complex cabling layouts for audio, video, and control systems. Experience with digital signal processing (DSP), software troubleshooting, and maintaining AV control platforms. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or non-technical stakeholders. Mechanical aptitude for equipment installation in various environments along with electrical experience related to low voltage wiring. Capable of working independently or as part of a team on live event projects requiring precise timing and coordination.
