Pasadena, CA Job Details Full-time From $26 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Network installation Driver's License Attention to detail Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description About Wyredreams Wyredreams specializes in the design, installation, and service of technology systems for high-end residential and commercial clients . Our projects include low-voltage infrastructure, audio/video, networking, security, surveillance, access control, intercom, and other technology systems. We are looking for an experienced Installation Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in clean, professional installations and enjoys working with technology and solving problems. Responsibilities Install and service low-voltage and AV systems in residential and commercial environments. Pull, route, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling. Install audio/video equipment, displays, speakers, cameras, intercoms, and related equipment. Install and organize equipment in racks and structured wiring enclosures. Perform equipment mounting and professional cable management. Assist with networking and technology system installations. Test systems and troubleshoot installation issues. Read and follow wiring diagrams, project documentation, and installation plans. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Protect finished surfaces, furniture, and client property while working. Work professionally around homeowners, business owners, general contractors, and other trades. Work with lead technicians and project managers to complete projects on schedule. Load, transport, and properly handle equipment and tools. Assist with service calls and system troubleshooting as needed. Travel Occasional out-of-state travel is required for certain commercial projects. Travel may include overnight stays and several days on-site depending on the project. Candidates must be comfortable traveling for work when required. Qualifications Previous experience installing low-voltage, AV, or related technology systems . Experience working in residential and/or commercial environments. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Knowledge of low-voltage cabling and installation practices. Ability to troubleshoot wiring and equipment issues. Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and installation documentation. Valid driver's license and reliable driving record. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift and carry equipment up to approximately 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical installation work. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Professional appearance and communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel for commercial projects, including occasional out-of-state travel. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Residential AV installation Commercial AV installation Structured cabling Audio and distributed audio systems Video distribution Home theater installation Commercial displays Speaker installation Surveillance systems Intercom systems Access control Network infrastructure Equipment racks Fiber optic cabling Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A cabling Coaxial cabling Basic electrical knowledge System troubleshooting and service The Right Person We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, mechanically inclined, technically capable, and takes pride in their work . Our technicians work in a variety of environments, from high-end residences to commercial properties. The ability to adapt to different job sites and work professionally around clients, contractors, and other trades is extremely important. Clean workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot problems are essential. We're also looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with the company and take on additional responsibility as their skills develop. Schedule & Travel Full-time position. Work will primarily be at job sites throughout Southern California, with occasional out-of-state travel for commercial clients . Travel may require overnight stays depending on the project.
