  • $40-$50/hr DOE
  • 4×10 schedule High Country Low Voltage (HCLV) is a commercial AV and low-voltage integrator in Golden, Colorado.
We build boardrooms, council chambers, training rooms, LED walls, and the infrastructure behind them for public agencies, general contractors, and commercial clients. The Lead AV Technician runs the job on site. You turn a PM's plan into a finished, labeled, tested system, lead a crew of two to five technicians, and hand the Field Engineer a job with zero installation work left. We want someone who works hard, won't accept sloppy work from themselves or anyone else, and makes the people around them better. At a 20-person company you'll be known by name, have direct access to the owner, get decisions made in a day, and have a clear path forward. What you'll do Lead the crew Review project documents before the job starts and flag missing items, risks, and concerns. Come to pre-install meetings with a labor plan and solutions, then load labor plans and task lists into Fieldwire. Lay out each day's work and assign tasks to technicians based on their skill level. Train and coach Tech I and Tech II crew members on the job, and give the PM honest feedback on their progress. Lead by example on pace, attitude, and standards. Own the quality Make sure every install meets HCLV Installation Standards and

The Field Engineer should find zero installation work when they arrive. Deliver complete redlines (including cable levels), labeled photos, and completion forms in Fieldwire at closeout. Run the job site Send daily reports to the PM in Fieldwire and track actual hours against the labor plan. Send equipment requests to the PM daily, and follow up on every reported issue until it's resolved. Get PM approval before starting any out-of-scope work. Coordinate with the on-site customer contact and GC so work areas are ready on schedule. Keep the site clean and secure, and keep your van stocked, maintained, and clean. Clock in and out accurately and allocate hours to the correct project. What you bring Required
