Job Description Tru-Tech AV is an audio/visual company serving Palm Coast and the surrounding areas for over a decade. We are a Control4 Certified Showroom, specializing in custom residential and commercial AV systems. We are looking hire an experienced Installation Technician and systems programmer who will work with the Project Manager, Design Engineer and Sales team to achieve successful installation, testing, customer satisfaction, and closeout of each assigned project. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable on new and innovative technology and search for ways to utilize them. They will be comfortable interacting with customers and have outstanding interpersonal skills, Instruct clients on correct usage of equipment, and work well individually or with a team. Applicant must be great with customers and have minimum experience requirements below to be considered.

Sales Bonus:

Field technicians have a great opportunity to recommend replacement equipment and system upgrades. We offer an aggressive bonus program with average bonus ranging between: $300 - $1000+ / mo!!

Responsibilities AV Equipment Installation:

networks, surveillance, distributed audio, distributed video, control systems, surround sound, projectors, equipment rack wiring, motorized shades, etc..

System Programming:

networks, surveillance, PDU power, Control4 automation, smart remotes (harmony)

Quality Control:

Testing all equipment and ensuring systems functioning training customer on how to use new system.

Client Handoffs:

Ensuring client fully understands the capabilities of their systems and how to easily operate.

Service:

Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve media system problems. Relate findings to client in language they can understand. Recommend solutions. Maintaining an on-going dialog with Project Manager, ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations. Updating ticket notes, updating invoices with actual materials used, collecting payments in the field. Maintain a company supplied service vehicle Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management. Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent 3 years minimum experience in deploying and configuring networks 3 years minimum experience with Control4 programming Experience installing audio/visual, control systems, low voltage, structured wiring, or related systems required Experience using hand tools. Maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be able to climb ladders, lift in excess of 50 pounds, work in high places and in small cramped spaces. The position of Installation requires the following attributes: technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, focus and attention to detail and punctuality. We are open to candidates relocating for this role. Please note we are not currently offering relocation assistance.

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
