This Lead Installer leads a crew, receives scheduling and job specifications from the sales team, manages project execution and serves as the on-site expert delivering clean, reliable, client ready systems. Responsibilities Install, configure and commission Lutron RadioRA3 and HomeWorks lighting control systems Install, program, and commission Control4 automation systems using Composer Pro Mount and wire-in ceiling and in-wall speakers, flat panel displays and AV equipment Assemble and wire equipment racks with clean, labeled cable management Program Lutron scenes, sequences, astronomic time clocks events and keypad button mapping using Lutron Designer Software Design and optimize Control4 Zigbee mesh networks across controllers, keypads, sensors and thermostats Install and program Lutron Triathion, Serene, Sivoia and Palladiom motorized window shades and integrate them with Control4 scenes Integrate A/V, lighting, shades, networking and third party subsystems into unified Control4 projects Configure residential networks including VLAN segmentation, reserved IP addressing and remote access Lead 2-4 person installation crew, delegating tasks and ensuring quality standards Conduct client walk-through, train end users on Control4 app and Lutron keypad operation Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, electricians and other trades on active job sites Complete punch-list items, final system testing and handoff documentation Perform post install service calls, troubleshooting and warranty support Required Qualifications 3+ years of residential electronics installation experience Demonstrated experience programming and commissioning Lutron RadioRA3 and/or HomeWorks QSX systems Demonstrated experience with Control4 Composer Pro programming Strong low voltage wiring skills and clean cable management practices Experience installing motorized window shades (Lutron preferred) Working knowledge of residential networking, IP addressing and VLAN configuration Ability to read and interpret system design drawings and scope of work Ability to lead a crew and management on-site project execution Strong communication and client-facing skills Valid driving license and clean driving record Ability to climb ladders work on crawl spaces and lift 50+ lbs Join our team as a Lead Installer Residential Custom Electronics and play a vital role in transforming homes into intelligent entertainment hubs through expert installation and innovative solutions!
