Job Description

Overview Our Audio/Visual Technician will be at the reins of our "behind the scenes" production for all weekend services and other programs/events as assigned. Not only will this individual oversee our technical volunteers, they will help build a healthy team environment in which our people can grow in their technical and production skills to serve God with excellence. The Audio/Visual Technician will also provide technical support throughout the building when needed. Additionally, our Audio/Visual technician will be responsible for the live stream of our worship services. Qualifications

Perform primary duties and responsibilities for the ministry purposes of Second Presbyterian Church.
Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends) when the Church is open. Sundays and special services are required.
Reliable and punctual
Effectively organize, prioritize and lead multiple projects
Attitude of responsiveness and flexibility with strong interpersonal skills
Possess attention to detail, problem solving and staying up to date with ever-changing industry standard capabilities Areas of Responsibility
Attend weekly worship planning meetings
Develop, train and lead a team of people to execute technology for all worship services
Facilitate the technical production for all worship services and other programs/events at Second Presbyterian Church (i.e. Sound, Lighting, Media, Video)
Provide technical advice and guidance on design and technical graphics issues to other staff
Store, maintain, and service all Audio/Visual Equipment
Work closely with the Director of Communication, Director of Music, Organist and the Worship and Music Committee Authority Held
Oversee all technical volunteers Evaluation
This position will be reviewed on an annual basis and the review will be shared with the

Up to $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 per week
