In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting a wide range of AV systems across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of audio, video, control, and networking components, delivering outstanding audiovisual experiences. Key Responsibilities Support AV installation projects from start to finish Interpret system drawings, schematics, and scope of work Install, configure, and commission AV systems including audio, video, control, and networking components Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve system issues Ensure installations meet company standards, safety requirements, and project timelines Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades Maintain accurate documentation including as-builts and field reports Provide client-facing support, system walkthroughs, and basic training Technical Qualifications Strong working knowledge of AV systems, including: o Audio systems (DSP configuration, gain structure, speaker wiring) o Video systems (switchers, matrix routing, EDID, HDCP) o Control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) o Structured cabling (CAT6, fiber, coax) Advanced troubleshooting skills across audio, video, control, and network systems Experience with AV-over-IP systems and basic network configuration (VLANs, multicast, QoS) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and signal flow diagrams Experience with rack building, system commissioning, and testing Soft Skills Strong work ethic and reliability Clear communication and ability to collaborate effectively Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to manage time, priorities, and job site workflow Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and other trades Comfortable working in environments where conditions change and able to adapt, problem-solve, and keep projects moving forward Solution-oriented and takes ownership of issues and drives practical resolutions, not just escalation Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of AV, low-voltage, or related installation experience Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role CTS or CTS-I certification Experience with major AV control platforms (Crestron, Extron, AMX) Strong familiarity with networking fundamentals Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering innovative audiovisual solutions!
