Position Overview:

Under the supervision of the Witches' Ink Advisor, the Student Intern will transition from a traditional classroom setting to a live production environment. The intern will perform a variety of routine to moderately complex technical duties in graphic design, pre-press setups, printing, and client relations. This position is essential in assisting Witches' Ink's expansion beyond Salem High School and in serving the entire Salem Public Schools.

CTE Exploratory Program Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations:

Fulfill clients' print requests for all of Witches' Ink services.

Design:

Create graphics for Salem Public School and Witches' Ink clients, including t-shirts, event posters, banners, programs, and logos.

Client Communication:

Act as the first point of contact for digital file submissions. Talk with SHS teachers, club leaders, and students to understand their needs.

Shop Maintenance:

Responsible for the cleanliness of the production room and the maintenance of equipment. Assist with inventory tracking of supplies.

Equipment Mastery & Process Standardization:

Proactively master the operation of all production lab equipment. Independently participate in online training instruction.

Hourly Rate:
