This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an active, team-oriented environment, loves working with their hands, and takes pride in problem-solving and staying organized—even when things get busy. Position Overview The AV Technician is responsible for setting up and tearing down audiovisual and event equipment, loading/unloading trucks, maintaining warehouse organization, and driving company vehicles to and from events. You'll work closely with our warehouse and onsite teams to ensure flawless execution and exceptional client satisfaction. This is a contract position , and weekly hours will vary based on event demand and seasonality. Evening and weekend availability is essential, particularly Friday and Saturday nights. Some weeks may include consistent assignments, while others may be lighter depending on the production schedule. Key Responsibilities Set up and break down AV, lighting, and production gear at event venues. Load and unload equipment from box trucks, vans, and other vehicles. Drive company vehicles to and from event sites (as needed). Accurately follow packing lists and timelines to ensure correct gear is prepped and delivered. Safely lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds; occasionally assist with heavier gear (up to 100 pounds) using team-lifting protocols or appropriate equipment. Perform basic troubleshooting and quality checks on AV gear pre

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and workspace environment. Assist with labeling, minor gear repairs, equipment cleaning, and inventory prep. Represent the company professionally while engaging with clients during event load-ins and load-outs. Adhere to all safety policies and operational guidelines. Additional Responsibilities Uphold cleanliness and order in the warehouse as a core part of the role, not an afterthought. Candidates must be comfortable taking ownership of workspace organization. Support operational needs outside of events, including restocking, maintenance, and gear inspection. Be prepared for long days or late nights during high-demand seasons. This is part of the role and reflects the nature of working in live events and entertainment production. Requirements Previous experience working with AV Equipment or Production is required. Able to lift 50 pounds regularly and assist with heavier items up to 100 pounds using team lift practices. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Availability to work evenings and weekends, especially Fridays and Saturdays. Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to adapt in fast-moving environments. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. Experience with cargo vans or box trucks is a bonus but not required.
