Suburban Community Channels (SCC) is a community television station located in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, serving the northeast metro for more than four decades. SCC provides professional video production services to clients throughout the Twin Cities and creates distinguished content encompassing a range of local events and programming. This includes comprehensive coverage of city meetings, sporting events, theatrical performances, concerts, community festivals, high school graduation ceremonies, and parades, as well as news and informational programming from its nine member municipalities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and operates live programs, meetings, and events from multiple sources. Monitors and operates station's automated playback system and related equipment. Provides technical support for remote shoots. Prepares and updates programming schedules in our playback system. Maintains productive relationships with officials from our nine member cities. Communicates with our network of cable casters broadcasting live city meetings. Daily updating of character generator program schedules and community bulletin boards. Provides technical support for IT & AV Technician. Provides statistical information and prepares reports. Ability to maintain a team and service oriented approach to work. Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, work effectively under pressure, and complete work in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled work hours. Responsible for maintaining a clean work area. Perform other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Cablecast. Knowledge of video and audio equipment. Knowledge of software applications.

Part-time Pay:
$24.67 per hour
Expected Hours:
15-20 per week
Evening Shift:
M-THwith the occasional weekend This is an in-person position
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license and provide your own transportation. Must be able to work evenings and be available to receive on-site training.
