This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in AV systems, control programming, and electrical troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation of cutting-edge audio-visual technology. You will be instrumental in supporting installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts, helping clients achieve optimal AV performance for live events, conference rooms, and digital communication platforms. Duties Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual systems including video conferencing setups, audio equipment, control systems, and digital signal processing devices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV equipment, software glitches, network connectivity, and electrical components to ensure uninterrupted system performance. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate system installation and repairs. Support live event AV production projects by setting up equipment, managing signal flow, and ensuring high-quality audio and video output. Perform routine maintenance on AV systems and cabling infrastructure to optimize longevity and functionality. Conduct field service visits for client sites to diagnose problems, implement solutions, and provide technical support for audiovisual control systems operation. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide training on AV system operation, and deliver excellent customer service throughout all interactions. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles including E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation), low voltage wiring, telecommunication standards, and electrical schematic reading. Proficiency in computer networking concepts essential for configuring AV over IP systems and troubleshooting network-related issues. Experience with control system programming for audiovisual systems using industry-standard platforms. Skilled in equipment troubleshooting across a broad range of AV hardware such as audio systems, video conferencing units, digital signal processors, and control interfaces. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to support installation and maintenance activities. Familiarity with software troubleshooting for AV control platforms and digital media applications. Mechanical aptitude for cabling, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools during installations or repairs. Knowledge of live event production workflows including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV equipment under time-sensitive conditions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients. Experience working within the AV industry or related fields such as telecommunications or electrical engineering is highly valued.
