Please complete our application form here: https://forms.gle/Ct1jj8qZXRagmpWv6 Omni LED is hiring a full-time LED Video Wall Technician / Event AV Technician to become the primary technician for our Texas rental operations. The primary focus of this position is delivering, setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and dismantling rental LED video walls for corporate events, churches, concerts, festivals, schools, arenas, and other venues. During slower rental periods, the technician will also assist with permanent LED screen installations. Direct LED video wall experience is not required. We provide hands-on technical training. Previous experience in AV production, live events, staging, lighting, sound, construction, electrical work, or another technical field is preferred. Duties Prepare LED equipment for upcoming projects. Load and unload LED panels, ground-support systems, cables, controllers, tools, and accessories. Drive a company-provided box truck to event locations throughout Texas. Travel to out-of-state projects when required. Assemble and dismantle LED video walls, typically ranging from 60-200 square feet. Build ground-supported LED walls and occasionally assist with rigged installations. Connect power, data cables, controllers, and video sources. Configure screen resolution, mapping, and processing equipment. Connect laptops, cameras, switchers, and other client video sources. Troubleshoot LED modules, receiving cards, power supplies, cabling, and signal issues. Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs. Occasionally manage video content during events when requested. Direct stagehands and additional crew during setup and load-out. Communicate professionally with clients and venue representatives. Maintain accurate equipment inventory and warehouse organization. Complete project reports and take setup photos after each event. Assist with permanent LED video wall installations when needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Comfortable driving a box truck. Experience towing a trailer is an advantage but not required. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing approximately 45-65 pounds. Comfortable working on ladders and occasionally using lifts. Willingness to work outdoors when required. Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving abilities. Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Professional communication skills when working with clients and venue staff. Ability to lead helpers and stagehands on-site. Availability for weekends, evenings, travel, and occasional urgent bookings. Previous AV, live-event, LED wall, video, staging, sound, lighting, rigging, or technical installation experience is preferred but not required. Schedule and Compensation Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. $30 per hour. Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate. Additional project and out-of-state travel bonuses of up to $1,000. Paid vacation and sick days. Paid technical training. Mileage reimbursement when applicable. Company-provided vehicle, tools, and equipment. Travel throughout Texas with occasional out-of-state projects. Growth opportunity toward Lead Technician or Operations Manager.
