Service Technician We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our innovative and progressive team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing audiovisual (AV) systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and system functionality. You will coordinate directly with clients to schedule and complete service work efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site service and maintenance on AV systems and equipment Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to schedule service visits The Service Technician collaborates with Arrow team members to develop accurate and cost-effective service quotations that meet customer requirements Serves as the primary point of contact for service-related issues, coordinating with customers to determine service expectations, schedules, and completion dates Support the installation team by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Coordinates ship dates of all service-related equipment with purchasing to expedite equipment or parts as necessary Responsible for communicating service progress/changes to customer and company installation and technical staff Maintain equipment and perform repairs in the shop as needed Responsible for reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints Works closely with administration to ensure accurate and timely billing to customer for service and parts provided Ensures accurate tracking and documentation of time sheets, service and installation tickets, and inventory items.
Qualifications:
The Service Technician shall possess a two-year electronics degree from an accredited college or university or a minimum of 5 years working experience in the electronics field is required. Solid understanding of analog and digital audio/video technology Strong troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Accountability:
The Service Technician will be accountable to the Operations Manager. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, and customers of the company. This position requires a minimum of an InfoComm CTS certification and base level programming and product training/certification by equipment manufacturers such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, BIAMP, BSS, JBL, Shure, Allen & Heath, Yamaha, Digico, Atlas, Da-lite, Crown, Samsung, LG, Sony, Middle Atlantic, Premier, Polycom, and Lifesize among others. Advanced test equipment operation is required for audio and video testing as part of the troubleshooting process. This position requires past experience and familiarity with electronic test equipment commonly used in electronic equipment test and repair. This person must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with our clients and other employees. The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and in a non-technical manner with the client, staff, and vendors.

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups. 4. Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. 5. Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date. 6. Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations. 7. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation. 8. Valid and current driver's license.
Travel:
Occasional overnight travel and out-of-town assignments may be required.

$27.50 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
