Full Job Description Production Technician Job Description Role Summary:

The Production Technician oversees the weekly logistical responsibilities for Graceway's production environments, including Sunday and Wednesday services, special events, and offsite production events. The Production Technician must possess skills in the managerial aspects of live production, including audio, video, and lighting. The Production Technician must possess strong people skills, have the ability to build and manage large, diverse teams, and possess strong communication skills.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

Two (2) years of experience in a live production or broadcast environment Experience in team-building and team management Experience with budget administration and project management Basic understanding of audio, video, and lighting systems, equipment, and concepts Intermediate proficiency on a Mac and PC Knowledge and experience with Dante Familiarity with ProPresenter, BlackMagic Design, Vista Lighting Systems, ETC Lighting Systems, and various projector control interfaces is preferred but not required Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills Relational and team-building skills are required

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Serve regularly at Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services, overseeing the lead producers and production teams Coach, mentor, and train new members of the production team while fostering a community of serving and learning aimed at accomplishing Graceway's vision Clearly communicate Graceway's vision to members of the production teams Recruit and build production teams within each of our main environments Manage production operations that are required to support Graceway's services and events, including (but not limited to): Oversight of production residents and/or contract staff Uphold department policies regarding systems, training methods, workflow, etc. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good working order Coordinate projects across multiple departments Engage with the Worship Director on long-term planning Attend staff meetings Assist in troubleshooting and repairs as necessary Nurture and develop relationships with past, current, and future vendors Oversee the creation and maintenance of checklists, logs, and documents for usage in the production environments Actively research new products, innovations, and methods for production Will work some non-traditional hours in seasons such as 21-Days of Prayer, some holidays (especially around Christmas), and when required by church-wide events Ability to produce compelling elements for worship services and events. Ability to use imagination, originality, and talent to produce a high-quality product.

Other Functions and Responsibilities:

Manage and/or assist with weddings and funerals Manage and/or assist with Graceway's student camp, retreats, conferences, and other special events Manage and/or assist with offsite production events Assist other Graceway departments with limited production needs Assist in post-production editing, recording, and other Graceway Collective needs when necessary Editing weekly videos, as needed Other duties as assigned

Assist with the set-up, operation, and/or tear-down of production equipment as needed Equipment repair of production equipment as needed Moving and/or lifting equipment that can weigh in excess of 50 lbs as needed Must be able to be on Graceway's insurance to drive Graceway vehicles
