Job Overview The Atlanta Motorsports Park is seeking a dedicated Race Track Corner Marshall to ensure the safety and smooth operation of our race events. The Corner Marshall plays a vital role in monitoring track activities, communicating with drivers and race officials, and maintaining a secure environment for all participants and spectators. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about motorsports and committed to safety standards. Duties Vigilantly observe race track activities to identify any safety concerns or rule violations. Communicate effectively with drivers, race officials, and team members using radio or hand signals. Assist in managing track conditions, including flagging and signaling to ensure driver awareness. Respond promptly to incidents on the track, providing support or alerting emergency services as needed. Maintain a professional presence at the corner station, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Support event operations by setting up safety equipment and ensuring the track remains clear of hazards during races. Work collaboratively with other staff members to uphold the highest safety standards throughout events. Requirements Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and light rain. Exposure to loud noise levels and fast-moving vehicles is inherent in this role. Must be available to work on weekends and open holidays, with flexible availability during weekdays as needed by event schedules. Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
