Job Description
The St Maries Gazette Record is seeking an editor to join the Mullen Newspapers team in Idaho. The Gazette is a weekly community newspaper with content generated locally by an editor with help from local journalists and freelance writers. The Gazette offers a flexible work environment, and we will tailor the position for the right candidate. A sports writing background is helpful. Duties/Skills Work with Freelance writers and photographers Four to five stories a week Assist in the design and pagination of newspaper pages using Adobe Creative Suite. Maintain an active presence in the community and regularly attend area events. Photography skills required Opportunity for advancement as Mullen Newspaper Company continues to grow in Montana and nationwide.
