11/9 through 1/29 with extension potential Full-time (40 hrs/week) Quick interview process Target Profile JD required Licensed Attorney Document Review is not sufficient, must have Litigation and/or Transactional legal experience (Ideally 3+ YOE in this space in recent roles) Transactional attorneys also desired Recently rtrd attorneys could be excellent candidates Strong legal research and writing skills Comfortable with Excel and web-based tools What They'll Be Doing This project will test the outputs from a Large Language Model (LLM) that is being tested for the creation of AI generated draft legal content, including memos and briefs; summaries of legal content types, including opinions and statues; and research answers. Using Excel and other tools, a portion of the work will involve creating inputs/prompts for an LLM and analyzing outputs from the model for model training. Editors may be asked to evaluate outputs for specific legal content against a set of required elements. The editors may also be asked to evaluate the accuracy of both the summary, answer, and draft content and any statutory rules or case citations contained within the output. For both tasks, editors will be required to provide assessment rating feedback and to provide additional feedback commentary as necessary. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cary, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
