About the Job

We're looking for a 2nd experienced and talented documentary editor who is passionate about making powerful, impactful, cinematic long form videos and will work well with the rest of the team. Our channel - Behind the Food TV - documents our host Al's journey to become a better cook by meeting and learning from the best chefs and pitmasters on the planet, and telling their powerful stories along the way. Think Anthony Bourdain meets Netflix's Chef's Table and Guy Fieri's DDD, but published on YouTube. You'll be joining an editing team with a lead editor and another editor, where you will be responsible for the full editing process for multiple videos but will be able to rely on your teammates for advice and standards. Ideal Candidate

You are the right person for the job if you are a native english speaker, have specific experience editing both documentary-style videos and food or cooking videos using the Adobe suite of products to create beautiful, epic videos. You'll be an expert in multi-cam editing, and you will be adept at matching colors between different cameras, audio levels from different speakers, and incorporating music to enhance the dramatic nature of your videos. And you have such high standards for your own work that you won't require a lot of direction to make your videos epic. How to Apply
