Job Description
We are a fast growing women's wholesale with a focus on denim and we are seeking an individual for a long term commitment who is organized, skilled, and is detail oriented to join our design team. Qualifications- 5-6 yrs denim apparel experience preferred MAC proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS office (Excel) Must be able to build relationships with effective communication throughout the company. Must be able to travel as required per job duties. Must to be eligible to work in USA Duties include- Arrange/attend vendor(fabric, laundry) appointments Attend all fittings. Measure specs and prepare/organize rack before fitting Research Denim Trends and help to make presentation boards Stay aware of evolution of trend, competition and our customer Meet assigned due dates Manage fabric leg tests and communicate with fabric vendors for sample yardage. Organize fabric library racks Computer sketches, build tech packs Make design linesheets per season Develop washes, prints,embroidery, and embellishment Follow up on sample status with laundry, sample room, and pattern team Interface/communicate with production and sales Serious applicants only, pay rate will be discussed and negotiated based on experience.
