Role Description The Showroom Assistant is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, the individual supports day-to-day showroom operations, including greeting visitors, answering questions, and guiding customers through porcelain tile and pool design options. Responsibilities include maintaining product displays, ensuring the showroom is clean and organized, and preparing samples or materials for client presentations. The Showroom Assistant assists with basic sales activities, processes customer inquiries, and coordinates with the sales and design teams to support a smooth customer experience. The role also involves handling phone and email inquiries, updating showroom materials, and providing knowledgeable, courteous service to all visitors. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication abilities. Experience working in Showrooms or similar design-focused environments. Background in Sales and Retail Sales, preferably in tile, design, construction, or related industries. Ability to maintain a professional, organized, and visually appealing showroom space. Basic understanding of design concepts and willingness to learn product details and technical information. Proficiency with standard office and point-of-sale software; ability to manage schedules and inquiries. Reliable attendance, strong time management, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in design, architecture, or business is a plus.
