Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the floral department, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory
• Create and design floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their floral needs and answering any questions they may have
• Ensure that the floral department is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
• Train and supervise floral department staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and provide exceptional customer service
• Monitor sales and inventory levels to meet financial goals and minimize waste
• Collaborate with other departments to create cross-promotional opportunities

Requirements:

• Fluent in English; multilingual skills are a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of lawn care products and practices is preferred
• Strong understanding of retail math and cash handling procedures
• Proficient in floral design techniques and trends
• Experience operating a cash register and handling financial transactions accurately
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets
