The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to design specifications. This position requires a blend of customer service, sales, technical skills, and creative insight. Duties Create artwork for print including but not limit to business cards, flyers, posters, and mailers. Review artwork submitted for orders and prep for print production. Able to receive and organize orders in a fast pace environment Operate the store's print center for both graphic design and production. Ensure that production deadlines are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality Maintain equipment and workspace to ensure a safe and organized environment. Operate digital and wide format printers, ensuring quality and efficiency in production Run calibrations Monitor the print process and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth production Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of print equipment. Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging. Provide estimates Work with clients to choose the best product for their end goals Maintain inventory of print supplies and materials Must be willing to cross train and assist with our retail shipping department. This includes customer service, mailboxes, and pro packing. Qualifications Experience in a print shop or print environment Experience with Fiery is a plus. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on graphic design applications. Two to three years of experience or a two-year degree in graphic design or a related field Able to work and complete tasks independently in a quick turn environment Able to lift 50+ pounds
