As a Graphic Designer for The Mississippi Lottery Corporation, you'll bring our brand to life across print and digital, from store displays to the website, working alongside a small, close-knit design team where your work is seen everywhere, fast. Employees of the Mississippi Lottery Corporation are not considered state employees.) This role would be a great fit for someone who can juggle several projects without losing quality, takes feedback in stride, and is just as comfortable in Illustrator as they are updating a WordPress page.
What You'll Do:
Design print and multimedia materials for sales and promotional purposes, from concept through final file. Assist with maintaining the Mississippi Lottery website, from routine content updates to designing new sections and microsites. Maintain brand standards and style guide consistency across all print and digital materials. Produce advertising and promotional materials, including store displays. Collaborate with communications, marketing, and sales on imagery for social media. Design specialized reports as needed. Work closely with the Senior Graphic/Web Designer to learn the site's nuances and keep its look and functionality consistent. Serve as backup for the Graphic Designer II and Sr. Manager of Graphic and Web Design. Maintain a vendor specification database for design formats, from billboard dimensions to digital and terminal graphics. Great Fit If You:
Can provide a portfolio of relevant design work upon request. Have a bachelor's degree in a graphic arts or computer-based design field (preferred). Bring one to two years of experience in graphic arts and web design (preferred). Have strong analytical skills and can pick up technical software concepts quickly. Are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Have experience with WordPress, or can become proficient quickly. Can work independently and manage multiple deadlines at once. Collaborate well across marketing, sales, and communications teams. Take feedback from project stakeholders in stride and apply it effectively.
