Job Description:
SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech is looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team. This role requires a high degree of digital literacy and experience to support the development of high-quality advertising, marketing and other collateral materials across a variety of mediums in order to keep the SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech at the forefront of our audiences' minds when it comes to making us their higher education choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating graphic design projects and campaigns with stakeholders, generating clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end The design of digital and print assets for organic and paid advertising created in Adobe Creative Suite (
Examples:
digital display ads, social media posts, College viewbook, etc.) Preparing and sizing digital and print files correctly to different specifications Collaboration with team members on multi-faceted projects including the ongoing development and oversight of our brand guidelines to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception Saving and maintaining organized design files, folders, and libraries Partnering on the administration of Canva (or other related software) for departments across campus, designing in Canva when needed, saving and sharing assets Photography support
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated grasp of color, typography, design principles/layout Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Cloud) products such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop A varied portfolio that highlights aesthetic awareness and design problem solving abilities including concepts, original design, and the ability to expand designs into a range of assets while adhering brand guidelines Excellent communication skills including ability to explain design decisions The ability to receive, interpret, and integrate constructive feedback back into design Able to learn new tools and processes in an ever-changing design environment Graphics animation, HTML and Photography skills a plus
Additional Information:
The salary for this position is $54,090.00 per year. This is a full-time, temporary appointment. This position offers full New York State benefits which are some of the most comprehensive in the country.
