The Graphics Production Designer is responsible for sales support, design, and proofing of large format, window, and wall graphics. Work in partnership with sales across multiple locations to deliver a high-quality product and great customer service. The role requires experience with graphic design software and translating designs to finished printed products of window and wall graphics. It will suit someone with a passion for creativity and for supporting internal and external customers. Job Responsibilities Sales Support
35% Partner with sales estimators to assist in the sale of graphics projects by joining customer calls and leading the creative ideas on how best to achieve the customer's objective Recommend appropriate solutions including material type, printer technology, design, and installation options Coach estimators on what information is needed to correctly setup the job for production including pictures, measurements, and help to complete graphics work orders Help estimators accurately quote graphics jobs and contribute to high-end proposals for important customers and high-value jobs by providing renderings Design•35% In conjunction with sales estimators, verify customer intent and confirm project scope details Using a combination of existing customer artwork, general guidance, pattern catalogs, and site measurements, create proofs showing layouts of graphics on windows and walls and print ready files suitable for graphics production use Walk customers through proofing process, iterating the design where needed to ensure our understanding matches the customer's vision, keeping accurate notes to ensure timely follow ups Keep sales and operations teams informed of job status Once approved, handoff proof and print ready files to production and provide detailed installation instructions for installers Teamwork•20% Support graphics production when needed on high-volume days Participate in the installation of complex graphics jobs Product Development•10% Keep up to date on graphics capability and recommend hardware and software to keep American Window Film relevant in the graphics space Qualifications Previous design experience ideally within the large format printing industry (window and wall graphics, sign or printed vinyl) Understanding of how designs translate to glass (i.
