Job Description Summary:

The Graphic Design Assistant will work collaboratively with Graphic Designers and the Graphic Design Manager to create artwork for customization. Artwork will be to specifications and created using templates where necessary.

General Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Graphics Team in the preparation of digitized files for Production
• Coordinating hi-def samples for color matching and Manager Approval
• Become skilled at helping to support large format printers
• Assist as needed in the development of the annual product catalog and sales flyers
• Learn to become proficient in Digitized Software, Adobe CC, In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Provide general support to our graphic design team and other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have strong sense of typography, layout, design, color and overall aesthetics.
• Detail oriented
• Organizational skills
• Photography / video skills a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate with coursework in Graphic Design or similar experience
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, lift, and use hands and fingers to operate equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to detail work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds may be required.
