About Us We are a growing chocolate company behind two distinctive brands: Chocxo, a premium better-for-you chocolate brand focused on delivering great taste with less sugar, and Endangered Species Chocolate, a purpose-driven premium chocolate brand with a long-standing commitment to great chocolate and conservation. About the Role We are looking for a creative, hands-on graphic designer with strong consumer packaged goods experience and a deep understanding of packaging and retail execution. This role supports Chocxo, Endangered Species Chocolate, and select co-manufacturing projects , working closely with Brand Managers, Sales leaders, and cross-functional teams to translate approved brand strategy, product direction, and customer needs into compelling, commercially effective design. You'll develop packaging concepts and create the retail, shopper, and sales materials that bring our brands and customer projects to life—from packaging and shelf to displays to customer presentations, a lot in between. What You'll Do Develop packaging concepts, line extensions, adaptations, new product launch materials and point of sales materials. Translate brand and product briefs into strong visual concepts, layouts, and mock-ups. Design retail and shopper materials including POS displays, shippers, shelf talkers, sideboards, club displays, sampling materials, and retail activations. Create sales and customer materials including sales sheets, product presentations, customer presentations, and trade show assets. Support product photography, image editing, and digital assets as needed. Present concepts, incorporate feedback, and refine work through approval and execution. Prepare production-ready artwork and coordinate with agencies, printers, photographers, and production partners when needed. Ensure all work is accurate, on brand, retailer-ready, and delivered on time. Leverage department-approved AI-assisted tools to support efficiency, versioning, and asset organization, What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. 5-7 years of graphic design experience, including food/consumer packaged goods packaging experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging, consumer-facing design, and retail/shopper execution. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Strong understanding of packaging design, dielines, print production, file preparation, and production processes. Photography and image-editing capabilities. Strong understanding of how design influences consumers and performs in a retail environment. Excellent visual judgment, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with speed and precision. What Success Looks Like You're a versatile designer who combines strong creative instincts with an understanding of products (CPG), consumers, shoppers, and the retail environments. You're equally comfortable developing a packaging concept, creating a shipper or shelf talker, building a customer presentation, or supporting a photo shoot. You're collaborative, resourceful, fast, and detail oriented. You welcome feedback, solve problems, and roll up your sleeves to get great work across the finish line. Work Environment This is an on-site role based in Rockwall, Texas, five days per week , working closely with Marketing, Innovation, Sales, and other cross-functional teams. Occasional travel may be required for photo shoots, trade shows, customer meetings, or other business needs.
